Weather maps from WeatherUnderground show the polar wobble setting in. Note the cold spots are centered over the Magnetic N. Pole, not the Geographic N. Pole. Europe far too warm as their tilt places the Sun North there. N. America with a cold spot too far South of the Arctic [Jan 5] while Alaska melts [Jan 5]. The cold spot over Manchuria persisting, while Siberia just to the West and over India is warm by comparison and Europe roasts. By the end of January, the weather wobbles had become obvious! Compare to December, for trends.
